ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus Initiative Kick-Off Meeting in Croatia

On 18-19 June the ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus Initiative organised a Kick-off Meeting in Split, Croatia.

All representatives of the 21 European ERA-Net SG+ projects, including CESEPS, were invited to join the event. The kick-off meeting gave the participants the opportunity to get to know the other projects and start collaboration and knowledge exchange. To facilitate knowledge sharing, the ERA-Net SG+ Initiative created the platform expera, where you can sign up as user or expert of the ERA-Net SG+ Knowledge Community.

In addition to the kick-off meeting, five Working Group meetings were organised, discussing the following topics: system architecture and modelling, consumer and citizen involvement, interoperability and standardisation, regulatory and market development, and storage and cross energy carrier synergies.

CESEPS is project under the ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus initiative. The core goal of ERA-Net SG+ initiative is to build up a sustainable cooperation structure between national and regional Smart Grids programs in Europe as well as to enable the coordination with the relevant initiatives on a European Level. ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus intends to provide substantial contribution to the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan).
