The Final Meeting of the CESEPS project takes place 29 January 2019 at the Austrian Institute of Technology AIT in Vienna (AT).
The EU funding project Co-Evolution of Smart Energy Products and Services (CESEPS) looked into new smart energy devices and impulse its development. Coordinated by the University of Twente (NL) and the Graz University of Technology (AT), the project involved research teams from The Netherlands and Austria: TU Delft, Wageningen University, Utrecht University, and the international company DNV GL from the Deutsch part, and the AIT and eseia from the Austria side.
The project analysed a network of smart grid projects in both countries and compared their most relevant characteristics. In this sense, analysing how users of current smart grid pilot setups in Austria and the Netherlands do actually employ them was one of the main tasks.
CESEPS was funded in the framework of the joint programming initiative ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus by the Austrian Agency for Funding of Science (FFG) and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), with support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme.
